Huntington Beach Beachfront Rentals

For those looking for a beach front rental in the Huntington Beach area it's important to understand the geography of Huntington Beach. Pacific Coast Highway is the main street that runs north to south along side the ocean with very few homes located on the ocean side of the street. The beach actually goes right up the highway which offers very few properties that are actually located on the sand. There are a few exceptions to this rule. First on the very north end of town you will find a section of beach front homes in the suburb called "Sunset Beach." This is one of the oldest areas of Huntington Beach that offers single family homes directly on the sand. These homes rarely come on the market for sale and for lease and typically sell or lease very quickly.
One of the best options for beach front rentals is in the Huntington Pacific building. These condos were built back in the 1960's when this prime sandy beach location was grandfathered in and to this day is the only complex located on the ocean side of the Pacific Coast Highway. Currently there is one condo for lease in Huntington Pacific that is offered at 2,650 a month. This is for a 12 month rental so if you are thinking about doing a vacation rental in this complex then this property will not work. They will allow for pets based on the pet rules of the building and a $500.00 pet deposit.
Huntington Beach gets many vacation renters who are looking for a short term rental by the week or for the month. For the most part Huntington Beach does not offer a lot of vacation rentals. The best bet is to looking in the neighboring Newport or Laguna Beach towns that offer a multiple of vacation rentals.
