We have clients who are looking for a golf course view property in Huntington Beach and we always recommend the Huntington Seacliff community as one of the best places look. What is love about the Seacliff community is that is first a secure and gated neighborhood to live in. Second, the location is really ideal as it's a short distance to the beach while being in a tract that is surrounded by large luxury homes. Third, there is a good mixture of one and two story homes located here that date back to the late 1960's to larger newer homes. Of course, what makes this community special is that is surrounded by the lush grounds of a private golf course. Within the Seacliff community there are sections for example like "Upper Seacliff" where homes are situated on the 5th green of the golf course. Lower Seacliff is equally as nice with homes located closer to the Pacific Ocean.
Real Estate prices in the last couple of years has not dipped below $1,650,000 for a one story home that featured a total of four bedrooms with an approximate 1,976 square feet of living space. Most of the properties here will trade at $750 to $850 per square foot with some exceptions to this. One of the highest sales at $2,100,000 traded at over $1,100 per square foot for an approximate 1,860 square foot home that sold even before it came on the market. In general, these homes do tend to sell in a matter of 30 days or less with this easing up a little as the real estate market slows down. Homes located on the golf course due command a huge premium in price and have averaged over $1,000 per square foot in the last 3 years. The most recent sale was a home located right on the golf course that sold for $2,855,000. On average, only 2 or 3 of these golf course view homes come on the market each year so they are very much in high demand.
