One of the best places to find townhouses in the Huntington Beach area is the Huntington Continental community.  Back in the early 1960's, these two story townhouses were built in a European style where the buildings were attached to each other.  Similar to a condo building except each townhouse offers it's own unique architectural style and distinct color palate which is commonly found in European cities like Italy and Spain.  The interiors offer open floor plans that coming living room and dining spaces with a galley style kitchen and outdoor patio area.  Many have upgraded the original 1960's finishes to include granite counters and modern appliances in the kitchen with recessed lighting and newer cabinetry.  The staircase is located adjacent to the back wall which maximizes the interior living space.  Upstairs commonly feature the bedrooms and baths which some owners have added hardwood flooring or wall to wall carpet.

Parking is always a premium when you live close to the beach and the Huntington Continental commonly provides carport parking instead of garage spaces.  The beach is approximately three miles away with the 405 freeway located just minutes away.  This is a great area located near several golf courses like the Mesa Verde and Costa Mesa Country Club which provide large golf courses for it's members.  Local shopping can be found on Brookhurst street which is just blocks away from this community.  The neighborhood association has a lot to offer and includes two pools plus a tennis court, spa and large park area.  There are a total of 445 townhouses located here with monthly dues that currently run $200.00 a month.  There are a total of 6 properties offered for sale here that range from $399,000 to $425,000.  To learn more about buying a townhouse in the Huntington Beach area please contact any of our local agent today at 949-482-1313.
