One of the unique amenity that can be found in the larger homes is the man cave. The concept grew many years ago for men to have their own dedicated space within the house for themselves. it originally started out in the basement of the home where the room was often decked out in sports memorabilia, large screen TV and even a billiards table for entertainment. The sole purpose of them room would be for the man in the house to get away from everyone and enjoy a good sports game or hang out with other male friends. For the most part, it takes a rather larger house to accommodate such a room as most growing families occupy the large majority of the rooms for kids and work office. Having an extra room in the house that can be dedicated to such a theme is considered a luxury item.
There are several Huntington Beach homes that advertise having a man cave inside the home within the neighborhoods of Dutch Haven America and Sand Castle Estates. One house shows a picture that combines a workout room equipped with a bench press and other dumbbell weights alongside a work office deck and computer monitor. This in essence becomes and all purpose room for the man in the house. Since most California homes don't have a basement these types of rooms are often an extra bedroom or a family room that would otherwise not be used. We are not sure exactly how many real estate buyers are looking for such an amenity but for those who find this important you have come to the right place to look.
