Two Huntington Beach homes have been featured on the new Bravo TV show "Real Estate Wars." The developer Michael Alladawi has over 10 brand new homes being built in the Huntington Beach area and is interviewing two agents, John McMonigle and JoJo Wilson for the listing. At the end of Episode 2 of Season 1 the develop decides to give each agent one property each to see how well they can sell the property before committing to his other listings.
The properties are both located on California street in the downtown area of Huntington Beach which has become one of the most desirable places to live due to it's large number of newer construction homes, close proximity to the downtown area, beach and the Huntington Beach Pier. We did a quick search on our MLS system to see what happened with these properties and could not find any listings by either McMonigle or Watson. Spoiler Alert: We did find out that one of the two properties sold back on May 5th of 2017 for $1,800,000. It was originally listed at $1,849,888 and was on the market for 11 short days. The interesting thing was that the listing broker was Michael Alladawi who works for "The Plaza Group Realty" company. The buyer's agent was represented by David Macleod of Coldwell Banker Beachside.
The other listing is also listed by Alladawi and is currently listed at $1,849,888. The home has been on the market for a total of 217 days and has been under contract several times. The home is once again under under contract as of 10/05/17 according to our MLS data and is currently taking back-up offers. The three bedroom, two and a quarter bath home features an approximate 3,000 square feet and located on a 3,420 square foot lot. It was newly built in 2017 with 10 foot ceilings, European wide oak flooring and top of the line appliances in the gourmet kitchen.
