Huntington Beach is a very popular beach town in the coastal Orange County area that is rich in history dating back to the early 1920's when many of the original beach properties were built here. Most of the homes are located throughout Huntington Beach with a high concentration of them situated in the Downtown area. Every year we see about 4 or 5 of these homes come on the market each year that can really vary in size. Some of the most affordable historic homes will be those on the smaller size that average under 1,000 square feet and are often called tiny houses. There are also very elegant larger historic properties built in the 1920's that offer over 2,000 square feet of living space. These tend to be the most sought after properties since they don't come on the market that often and typically sell of a premium in price.
Real Estate prices will vary depending on the size and location of the home. Recent real estate prices as shown in this sales history chart shows a historic home being sold in July of 2021 for $745,000. It featured a total of there bedrooms with an approximate 910 square feet. More expensive homes have ranged up to $2,275,000 for a sale of two beach cottages as pictured above. The idea would be to live in one home and rent out the other. One of the homes is actually on the market for lease now at $4,100 and looking for a 12 month lease.
